Christmas 2012 1st set

These are three of the cards we will be making on the Christmas Card making day of Oct.20th. I have 6 ladies that will be participating. The card on the left is a horizontal flip card, the one in the middle is the stair step and the one on the right is a matchbook style.

STAIR STEP CARDCard base is 8 ½" x 5 ½" ---fold in half
From the bottom of the card you measure 2 inches in and 1 inch from the bottom. From that point you
Measure a line up to the 6 ¼" mark staying in 2 inches from left side. Then cut a slit from the 1" mark up to the 6 ¼" mark
On the largest side (right side) you will score at the 6", 4", 3", and 2" marks. This makes your stair steps.
Left side of card..decorate with a solid piece that is 1 ¾" by 4" cardstock embossed. On top of that you
would use the Apothecary Label and stamp sentiment on it and then wrap a ribbon around. Tie a knot with short piece to make a bow.
On right side use the smaller rectangle apothecary label stamped with Christmas saying on first stair.
(2) red 1 inch pieces after tying bows with bakers twine around for it to look like a pkg. Glue to second stair on each end.
3rd stair, stamp a Christmas tree, fussy cut and decorated and glued to stair in the middle.
Matchbook Christmas CardGumball green, and Starfruit inks.
Cut card stock at 10 ½" by 4 ¼"
Score at 4 ½" and at 9 ½" on long side
Inside card is card stock cut at 4 ¾" by 3 ¾" –stamp and decorate as wanted
Outside of card decorate
1 strip ds paper 1 ½" by 4 ½"placed ¼" from right edge.
Using a dotted ds paper cut into a 3" x 3 ¼" rectangle layer the stamped vanilla rectangle
Vanilla rectangle 2 ½" by 3" stamp the christmas and star using the Sensational Seasons stamp set , on it.
Use glitter glue to decorate.
Glue on card
