63rd Birthday

I had a wonderful 63rd birthday yesterday. My friend Gail took me to lunch, my youngest son sent me a beautiful orchid, my little co worker, Elizabeth gave me 12 salmon colored roses, my oldest son and his boys sent me a book that my grandson's class did. It was called Napkin dreams. So cute. Mike bought me the ink holder from Stampin Up and MaryJane, another friend, gave me 50.00. Gail gave me a boxed set of cards she had made and a 25.00 gift certificate.  What more can a girl ask for!
I was truly blessed to have such wonderful friends. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
Hope to get to play this weekend as I took Thursday and Friday off to do just that.

Convention theme

the theme was I am....than we had to think of the one word to describe ourselves, sucah creative, innovative, stubborn etc

FIRST OF ALL,  AN APOLOGY, THAT MY COMPUTER WOULD NOT WORK IN SALT LAKE CITY.
Our hotel was suppose to have free internet, about the time you might get on, you had about 1 min to stay online. The hotel said it was because of to many users??
Anyway, I am going to post some pictures and will be doing that  all rest of the week. If you have never went to a Stampin Up Convention , you missed a spectacular event. So plan on joining me and many others next year. It will be Stampin Up's 25the anniversary next yr. So can you imagine what that celebration will be like!
Plus while I was in Salt Lake all the numbers dropped out of my phone?? How weird was that.

Gail , lady in yellow top, is my upline, then Arlene Bridges from Arkansas is her upline. Arlene is the lady in blue, she has been a cancer survior for 11-12 yrs, and truly an inspiration to all for her grit and determination. The couple in the middle are Jackie and her husband, they have been internet friends for years. They are such a gracious couple, they came and went to the Olive gardern with us for supper the first night and then gave us a tour of the town. They grew up there.

In a few short hours, I will be in Salt Lake City for the Stampin Up Convention. My first time and I am so excited. Not many of you know that I have packed and unpacked my suitcase at least 20 times. LOL

The most amazing thing is that I will get to meet face to face with some old friends and hope to make lots of new friends!

Cased cards this morning

If I am going to case cards and build them I need to learn to give those ladies credit where credit is due.Thank you ladies for the inspiration this morning.  I love to case cards and put my own spin on them such as placement , colors and stamp sets used . Today I stuck pretty close.  Hope you enjoy my morning playing. I spent maybe 45 mins in the scraproom this morning, so these are quick and easy.

My girls were here this weekend for our monthly class, they did faux tile, punch art, and
masking and the last one was the triple stamping card. They all seemed to be very pleased with the class.
I will try and get some pictures posted as soon as I can figure out how to do this on the this toshiba pad.
it is only one week and one day and we are off to the big Stampin Up convention and I am getting so excited.

Step it Up 2012-2014

Here it is Sunday, the weekend is almost gone and back to work I go. Decided to get a little bit of play time in . We get ideas from Stampin up so that is another wonderful reason to come join me as a demonstrator, just go to my online store and hit join the fun.
